  • 99 Attack Guide (eoc)

    Hello guys I am back!!!

The monsters/training methods featured in this guide may not be 100% accurate. If you want to find exact XP per hour with your player, use a calculator or find out for yourself. Now, onto the guide!
    -------------------------------------------------------
This guide is going to feature not only training spots, but also the best abilities, prayers, armor, and weapons to use at specific levels.
    -----------------------------------------------------
    Abilities
No matter what, you should always use these while training. They kill the target faster, therefore resulting in more XP per hour. There are abilities that are amazing and should always be used, while there are also abilities that are downright useless. Here are some abilities that you will find useful
    Slice
    Punish
    Flurry
    Sever
    Assault
    Overpower
Only use ultimate abilities if you need them, as they are flashy in their nature.
    ---------------------------------------------------
    Prayer
Always use prayer. It may be hard to fund, but it is worth it in the long run. Prayers such as Chivalry boost your attack, strength, and defense, therefore increasing your XP per hour. You will only need o use prayer once you hit higher levels, however.
    ------------------------------------------------------
    Weapons
Evolution of Combat changed weapons a lot. It made certain weapons actually useful as well. I am going to tell you what weapons to use at what levels.
Levels 1-60: Use the best metal you can (Mithril, Adamant, Rune, Etc).
Levels 60-70: Use Dragon Spear. It has same bonuses as Dragon 2H and Halberd, but has no extra requirements or big price tag.
70-75: Use An Abyssal Whip or Torags hammer.
75-80 (99): Use A Saradomin Sword Until 80. If you have a sufficient Dungeoneering level and enough tokens, use the Chaotic Maul from 80-99. If not, stick with the Sara Sword until 99.
    --------------------------------------------------------------
    Armor
Armor is also changed by EoC. Again, I will provide the best armor for each level.
1-60: Use the best metal armour (Mithril, Adamant, Rune, Etc).
60-70: Use A Dragon Helm/Full Helm, Granite Body, Dragon Platelegs and Dragon boots.
    70-99: Use any Barrows/GWD set.
    ------------------------------------------------------
    Training
I’m going to give detailed explanations about where each spot is located, what the levels are, HP, etc.
    Levels 1-50

    Cow: Level 2 | HP: 25 | Burthorpe
    50-80k XP per hour
Before you start calling me stupid, don’t. I’ve been tested. Keep in mind that this is based off of the level 2 cows with 25 HP in Burthorpe. They give 40 XP per kill. Make sure to use duel claws/daggers.

    50-60 (Attack)

Moss Giant: Level 74 | Chaos Tunnels | HP: 3700 | 80-120k XP per hour

Among other places, these are located in the Chaos tunnels, my favorite place. They are mixed with level 40 moss giants, which only give 60 XP per kill, so only kill the level 74’s. ONLY train attack to 60 on these.

    50-60 (Strength and Defense)

Jungle Spider: Level 124 | Island East Of Yanille | HP: 3100 | 130-150k XP per hour
I found these when I was wondering Runescape looking for the best monster for XP at these levels. The reason I don’t recommend training strength or defense without first getting 60 attack is that you never hit them without a dragon weapon. You should get 60 strength and defense in no time at this point.

    60-80

Deadly Red Spider: Level 136 | Chaos Tunnels | HP: 3400 | 220k XP per hour
These are the best for these levels. If you start to train on these from 50-60, however, you will only get around 80k XP per hour because you will never hit them. The Chaos Tunnels location for these is usually crowded, but it is possible to find a world with no one there.

    80-99 Option A

Black Demon: Level 140 | Taverley Dungeon | HP: 3500 | 300k XP per hour
These are the absolute fastest XP per hour, especially if you use the Chaotic maul. The best location for these is the Taverley dungeon. Stay on the west side of the cavern because the entrance to the Poison Spider cave is on the east side. These do drop decent things, but the next monster if focused more towards money than XP.

    80-99 B

Steel Dragon: Level 144 | Brimhaven Dungeon | HP: 10000 | 250k XP per hour
If you’re looking for money and decent XP at these levels, than Steel Dragons are for you! They have good drops, including the rare Draconic Visage. Although if you are looking for XP, go to Black Demons.
    --------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for reading my guide. I hope it helps you on your way to 99 combat skills. If you have any questions or suggestions, drop a comment!

I like it! Prehaps you may want to add some fonting/colours to make it all pretty like!

Saradomin godsword or Guthans armor can also be useful as they have the special ability to heal upon hits.
Also momentum with soul split can be a good alternate depending on some monsters, as it can heal the person and momentum can be sometimes better than abilities.
